The Broadway in Haywards Heath hosted a day of music; 2 stages at each end of The Broadway, 14 performers, non stop day of music

Voices Live
Hand –picked International vocalists included ‘Shaun Dixon’, the tremendous Tenor who was guest artist on the ‘Hayley Westenra’ album, as well as locally based International soprano, ‘Jo Appelby’, ‘Louise Armit’, Mezzo – Soprano, and ‘James Cleverton’ Baritone were singing popular classics such as ‘The Torreadors Song’ from Carmen, the magical ‘Pearl Fishers’ duet and all time favourite ‘Nessun Dorma’ to name a few of the delightful vocals with modern classical crossovers such as ‘You raise me up’ there was something for everyone.

The Broadway was ALIVE with the sound of Jazz, Classical, Soul, Rock, Latin, Tribute and street entertainment, with talented feel good performances by local musicians as they joined together for a day of music for all. The town is still buzzing after musicians created a wave of music in the street!
This event attracted outstanding musical talent with music for all, with singing & dancing in the street and a lot of happy faces!
14 back to back performances throughout the day on two stages at each end of ‘The Broadway’, with street entertainers & music for all.
Locals enjoyed the amazing vocal ranges of ‘Voices Live’, with wild entertainment from ‘White Light’, or you can relax to ‘The Borderline Jazz Band’ or sing along to ‘Abba Uk’ & ‘Wilbury Jam’, jiggle to the sounds of ‘Limon y Sentimiento Latino’ and relive the spellbinding days of Queen with ‘The Bohemians’. There really will be something for everyone.
This event brought together the residents, businesses and visitors of Haywards Heath in celebration of the huge amount of musical talent it has to offer.
Gates opened at 11am with ‘The Paul Burris Experience’ (locally known in musical circles as ‘the best guitarist in town’) followed by the bursting roar energy showcase by ‘Rok Skool’; ‘Here is an environment where musical dreams become a reality for seven to sixteen-year olds as they plug in and play in the kind of rock ‘n roll cave until now only available to adults’.
