The Soldiers won the hearts of millions in 2009 and 2010 and set to do the same this Christmas with their new album and tour of the UK in 2012. The Triangle, Burgess Hill has been chosen as one of their first concert venues on Sunday 18th December, 2011 with a matinee performance at 3.00pm.

The Soldiers – Lance Corporal Ryan Idzi, Sergeant Major Gary Chilton and Staff Sergeant Richie Maddocks are real life Soldiers who soared into the hearts of the British Public with their debut album Coming Home - which became the 5th biggest selling domestic album of 2010.
The Soldiers created history by being the first group of serving soldiers to hit the British pop charts. They are real life heroes, have several medals between them and can be called up at any time.
Their classic song ‘Coming Home’ has become their anthem and is dedicated to all the servicemen and women across the world, receiving standing ovations with audiences around the country.
The Soldiers have performed for Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal Variety and at The Festival of Remembrance two years in a row.
To date their two Top 10 albums (Coming Home and Letters Home) have sold over one million albums worldwide and helped raise over half a million pounds for army charities.
Their new album, Message To You, is released in October 2011.  From this album has been chosen the Official Poppy Appeal Single for 2011, the poignant ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You’, performed by The Soldiers with Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb. Follow this link to see their video performance:

The Soldiers’ royalties from this single will go to The Royal British Legion’s annual fundraising drive. It is the first time serving soldiers have released the Official Single for the Poppy Appeal, which will focus this year on the Legion’s assistance in the recovery of injured Armed Forces personnel.
Russell Thompson, Director of Fundraising for The Royal British Legion, said:
I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You is part of the soundtrack to our lives, and it’s incredibly moving to hear it performed by serving soldiers thinking of those on operations in Afghanistan. We’re proud to be associated with The Soldiers and to have this song as the official tune of the Poppy Appeal in our 90th anniversary year.”
The Soldiers second album, “Message To You”, features fifteen new songs, all of which were carefully selected for their poignancy and meaning to the armed Forces and their Families and include some absolute classics such as ‘Right Here Waiting’, ‘Desperado’, ‘Pipes Of Peace’ and ends with a rousing version of the anthemic evergreen ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.   All these songs will be performed on Sunday 18 December, 3.00pm at The Triangle, Burgess Hill.
