Music & Dance on Broadway, a street music festival for Haywards Heath , is being held on The Broadway, Haywards Heath RH16 3AL on Sunday 29 May, 2011 from 11am in the morning through ‘til 10pm at night.
Music & Dance on Broadway is set to be one of the most vibrant ever music events in Mid Sussex, with a host of talented artists taking part in a diverse and entertaining programme of music and dance.
With the focus on music and dance from a range of different cultures the Street Festival will be bursting with energy, flamboyant dance and great music.
Music and Dance will cater for a wide range of tastes from Irish to Latin, Greek to Morris, Zumba to Street, Belly dancing to Salsa & Ballroom to Flamenco.
The dancers will provide awe inspiring displays and will invite you to take part.
There will though be plenty of time to relax and meet up with friends and family, the bars will spill out on to the streets with tables and chairs for you to chill out and soak up the atmosphere. The finest section of food and drink will be available throughout the event.
Children are catered for with puppet shows, juggling shows, balloon animal magic and fire show. They too can take part, learn how to street dance or be part of the circus skill workshop and for 11’s and under admission is FREE.
As the sun goes down you won’t be able to leave, the pace will hot up as the bands go from Latino to Rock and Jazz to Pop.
