That'll Be The Day REVIEW 2006
Friday, 30th June 2006, 7.30pmVictoria Park, Haywards Heath
That'll be the review then!
After gaining cult status over 20 years, 200 dates a year and over 3000 performances That'll be the Day brought their NEW musical show to Victoria Park to entertain Haywards Heath with their musical appeal and sense of comedy.
This outdoor summer's evening event was packed with LIVE rock 'n' roll music, performed in the spirit it was written and played by the original artistes.
Local picnickers in the summer heat wave were up on their feet and waving their arms in the air whilst singing along to all time favorites like Tina Turner’s ‘You’re Simply The Best’ as well as renditions of Mick Jagger, Abba, Mamas and Papas, David Essex, The Monkees and the like, once again proving that writer/director Trevor Payne knows how to create a fun packed show full of catchy tunes, comedy routines, costumes, set, lighting - the works!
Supporting was official fan club recognised Queen Tribute band ‘The Bohemians’ who leapt into action with their high energy show, which has earned them the reputation of the worlds most exciting Queen tribute act.
A hugely successful performance of ‘The Bohemian Rhapsody’ among other timeless favorites such as ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ and ‘Radio Gaga’ ended sooner than the crowd would have liked in a resounding encore of ‘We Will Rock You’ with the crowd left wanting more. Brian May has described the band as 'Brilliant’ and their hot summers evening performance really demonstrated that this band really does know how to rock a crowd.
